53RD AEM - ASEAN BAC Consultations

On September 8, 2021, the 53rd Dialogue Conference between the ASEAN BAC Business Advisory Council and ASEAN Economic Ministers was held with the participation of ASEAN BAC members and relevant ministers, leaders of 10 ASEAN countries.

At this Conference, on behalf of ASEAN BAC, Dr. Doan Duy Khuong, Chairman of ASEAN BAC 2020, proposed 225 points, including the establishment of the ASEAN High-Level Special Committee (AHLSC) to speed up joint decision-making to strengthen ASEAN Economic Cooperation in supply chain connectivity, procurement of medical supplies, vaccines, etc in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. At the same time, Dr. Doan Duy Khuong, Co-Chairman of ASEAN BAC 2021, also presented a summary of activities and specific requirements for ASEAN economic ministers in 2021.
