BWACO, formerly known as Dong Nai Drilling and Water Supply Company, was established on April 19, 1982. After more than 40 years of operation and growth, BWACO now manages four water treatment plants and five affiliated enterprises, providing clean water for domestic and industrial use to over 200,000 customers across Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, with a total designed capacity of approximately 240,000 cubic meters per day.

Since its founding, the company has continuously expanded in scale, capacity, and technology. Its water supply network now covers urban, rural, island, and industrial areas throughout the province. Total water supply capacity has increased to hundreds of thousands of cubic meters per day and night, with several modern, nationally standardized water plants. Its team of engineers, staff, and technicians are regularly trained to improve technical skills, professional capacity, and community responsibility.

BWACO also maintains meaningful social initiatives such as the “Vu Lan Rice Donation” program for underprivileged households, the elderly, and people with disabilities; charitable kitchens, and support for disadvantaged families.
