NA Chairman: People and businesses are at the center of every decision!
On the afternoon of October 7, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue visited the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and met with the business community on the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day.
National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue addressed the meeting with representatives of the Vietnamese business community.
At the meeting, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue extended his best wishes and feelings to the Vietnamese business community.
Sharing the reason for this meeting, Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue said that 17 years ago, Prime Minister Phan Van Khai decided to take October 13 as Vietnamese Entrepreneurs’ Day.
“The Vietnamese entrepreneurs have always been a pioneering team in the socio-economic development of the country. It is an important task of the Vietnamese entrepreneur community. Over 10 years ago, the Politburo issued Resolution No.09 dated December 9, 2011, on building and promoting the role of entrepreneurs in the period of industrialization and modernization of the country”, NA Chairman said.
According to the National Assembly Chairman, Politburo requested a summary of this resolution. “We will summarize to find new decisions to be submitted to the Politburo so that we could issue a new Resolution on the Vietnamese entrepreneur community", Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue emphasized.
NA Chairman added that the 4th Plenum of the 13th Central Committee focused on two important groups of tasks: socio-economic development in 2021 and action plans for the next 3 years with many important decisions.
The National Assembly is also preparing for its second session, which is scheduled to open on November 20, 2021. Next week, the National Assembly will also hold a third meeting to prepare for this important session.
In that context, in NA Chairman’s view, there are still some big tasks related to socio-economic development. At the next session, the National Assembly will consider many important law projects directly related to businesses such as the Draft Law on Cinema, the Draft Law on Insurance Business.

Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue said that preparing for the year-end session, next week the National Assembly will hold an important meeting with the Finance Committee and Budget Committee of the National Assembly to find solutions to help people and businesses overcome the COVID-19 crisis. "VCCI will be requested to offer many important opinions on these issues," Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue emphasized.
