In connection with the case, T&L Global Foods Supply PTY LTD, filed an application for trademark ST 24, ST 25 with the content "The best rice in the world". Although australia's agency is still in the process of reviewing for months, however, the Deal has implemented emergency measures, namely:

Firstly, the deal exchanged information with Mr. Ho Quang Cua and suggested coordinated action.

The product has been marketed, widely recognized, including in Australia. This is an indisputable fact.  

Ask IP Australia to review the incident, avoid possible disputes; affecting the export of ST 24 and ST 25 rice Vietnam to Australia.

Fourth, The Deal is in talks with lawyers in Australia to prepare the next steps as prescribed by IP Australia.

Fifth, if things deteriorate, the Deal will combine advocacy for australian business networks, associations, both newspapers in Australia and exchange channels to implement the overall plan.

The bottom line, the deal proposed together with Mr. Ho Quang Cua to speed up the related procedures, because without T&L Company, sooner or later there will be other companies doing similar things.

After the first 3 months of the year, rice exports Vietnam to Australia increased by 66% over the same period to more than 4.7 million USD.
