The development of science and technology, the 4.0 Industrial Revolution, the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change, trends of globalization and integration, individualism and the Russia-Ukraine conflict foresee a present world and the future that is a world and a society of uncertainty, that has a significant impact not only on the common sustainable development goals but also on the entire economy including the fields of administration, accounting, auditing, and finance in Vietnam as well as in all countries around the world. In particular, the COVID-19 pandemic has been contributing to the geo-economic shift, and strategic competition among major countries is creating turning point changes in the world situation with many employees. Unstable factors have a multi-dimensional impact on the security, economic, and development environment of countries, thereby generating many advantages and opportunities, but also bringing many difficulties and challenges.
After a new-normal year, Vietnam's economy has recovered relatively strong thanks to the drastic and correct policies of the Communist Party, the State, and the whole Government and the efforts of enterprises, organizations, units, and employees, also noteworthy of businesses that are interested in promoting green growth, e-commerce, and digital economy, developing science and technology, innovation, and digital conversion. This is an opportunity for all organizations operating in Vietnam to participate more deeply in the global trade order and supply chain, attract cooperation on infrastructure, and expand export markets.
However, the world and domestic economies continue to be influenced by economic and political factors with new variations, greatly affecting the balance of supply and demand, inflation, product circulation, supply chain of raw materials, production chain, and domestic and international trade. Since then, it has seriously affected the production and business activities, growth, and socio-economic development of the country.
To prepare for such challenges, the updating of theoretical and practical contents, academic exchanges on the economic situation, domestic and international trade, and adaptive strategic options in many other scientific aspects each other is necessary to help scientists, lecturers and research subjects strengthen their scientific research and teaching capacity, meet the requirements of practice, contribute to providing solutions to businesses and organizations deal with risks and uncertainties in a volatile business environment.
