Napas, Mastercard and Payoo launch nationwide promotional campaign to boost contactless payments

The National Payment Corporation of Vietnam (NAPAS), in collaboration with Mastercard and the payment platform Payoo, has launched the nationwide promotion program “Tap Now, Feel the Wow”.

With a total budget of over 14 billion Vietnamese dong, the campaign spans more than 5,500 retail locations across Vietnam, contributing to the growth of cashless payment habits and encouraging broader adoption of contactless transactions.

According to the State Bank of Vietnam, in the first nine months of 2025, cashless payment activities continued to maintain strong growth momentum. Compared with the same period in 2024, the total number of transactions increased by 43.3% and the total transaction value rose by 24.2%.

The Tap Now, Feel the Wow” campaign is designed to further encourage the nationwide shift toward cashless payments. Running from November 2025 through the first quarter of 2026, the joint promotion coincides with major shopping periods such as Black Friday, Christmas, New Year and Lunar New Year. The initiative aims to meet the growing year-end consumer demand during peak seasons while motivating customers to take advantage of attractive cashless payment incentives. NAPAS and Mastercard cardholders can enjoy discounts of up to 15% or fixed-amount reductions of up to 200,000 dong per transaction, depending on the participating merchant.

The program is implemented not only in major shopping malls but also across supermarkets, food and beverage chains, pharmacies, consumer electronics retailers and general retail networks. It covers more than 5,500 outlets from leading brands such as AEON Citimart, AEON Mall (Binh Duong, Binh Tan, Ha Dong, Hai Phong, Hue, Long Bien, Tan Phu), FamilyMart, FPT Shop, Gong Cha, Haidilao, McDonald’s, Ministop, TH true mart.

This campaign marks the third consecutive year that NAPAS, Mastercard, and Payoo have jointly launched a nationwide promotion campaign aimed at stimulating consumer spending and driving growth in contactless payments. In parallel, the three organizations continue to dedicate efforts to the “Tap to Share, Give Hope” social initiative, which focuses on women’s health and well-being. The program will provide free cancer screening for 2,010 underprivileged women in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, reaffirming the shared commitment to social responsibility, community health awareness, and support for vulnerable women.

 

Attractive year-end promotions are now available for NAPAS and Mastercard cardholders who make contactless payments at thousands of merchants nationwide from November 2025 through the first quarter of 2026. Specifically:

● 15% off, up to 100,000 dong, for purchases of 100,000 dong or more at AEON MALL. Valid during Black Friday, Christmas and January 2026 (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and on the 5th & 20th) at AEON Mall in Binh Duong, Binh Tan, Ha Dong, Hai Phong, Long Bien, Tan Phu and Hue.

● 15% off, up to 50,000 dong, for purchases of 50,000 dong or more at Gong Cha, McDonald’s, and Ministop.

● 15% off, up to 50,000 dong, for purchases of 100,000 dong or more at AEON Citimart

● 15% off, up to 50,000 dong, for purchases of 200,000 dong or more at TH true mart.

● 15% off, up to 50,000 dong, for purchases of 60,000 dong or more at FamilyMart

● 15% off, up to 200,000 dong, for purchases of 200,000 dong or more at FPT Shop.

● Instant discount of 200,000 dong for purchases of 1,000,000 dong or more at Haidilao restaurants.
