Sun PhuQuoc Airways Kicks Off Nationwide Agent Seminar Series, Ready to Launch Ticket Sales from October 15
Sun PhuQuoc Airways is connecting its nationwide distribution network for the first time through a three-region seminar series, preparing for ticket sales to officially open on October 15 and for its inaugural commercial flight on November 1, 2025.
On September 23 in Ho Chi Minh City, Sun PhuQuoc Airways (SPA) – the airline invested and developed by Sun Group – officially launched its Nationwide Agent Seminar Series under the theme “Rise Together – Where the Sun Leads the Way.” This was the first in a series of seminars that will continue in Da Nang (September 25) and Hanoi (September 27), aimed at announcing distribution policies and connecting agency networks across the country, ahead of the October 15 ticket sales opening and the first commercial flights scheduled for November 1, 2025.
The event brought together hundreds of travel agents, tour operators, and distribution partners – from major players such as Vietravel, Saigontourist, and Hanoitourist to online platforms like Traveloka, Kkday, and iVIVU, as well as payment and transport partners including VNPAY, Momo, ZaloPay, and Mai Linh. The strong presence underscored the significant cooperation potential and reflected the growing appeal of a new airline entering its final stretch before officially joining the market.
Ticket sales strategy with a distinctive approach

Sun PhuQuoc Airways will open ticket sales on October 15
In its initial phase, the airline will focus on a “hub-and-spoke” network, with Phu Quoc as the central hub directly connecting to major tourism and economic destinations in Vietnam. Planned flights include: Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi – Phu Quoc, Ho Chi Minh City – Phu Quoc, Hanoi – Da Nang, along with key routes such as Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City – Van Don, and Da Nang – Phu Quoc.
From 2026, SPA plans to expand to international routes directly from Phu Quoc to Seoul (Korea), Taipei (Taiwan, China), Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong (China). By 2027, its network will further extend to India, the Middle East, Russia, and Europe, reinforcing its vision to position Phu Quoc as a global aviation and tourism hub.
Sun PhuQuoc Airways representative shared: “October 15 will be a milestone as we officially open ticket sales. On November 1, our first commercial flights will take off, bringing passengers to one of the world’s most beautiful islands. We want Sun PhuQuoc Airways to be a traveler’s first impression of Phu Quoc, inspiring trust and excitement right from the ticket booking stage, and serving as the gateway to a seamless holiday experience within Sun Group’s ecosystem.”
Modern fleet – A solid foundation
In 2025, Sun PhuQuoc Airways will operate seven aircraft, including A320CEO, A321CEO, and A321NEO. By 2026, the airline expects to add eight more aircraft to support its international expansion. Looking ahead to 2031, the fleet will welcome 10 wide-body Boeing aircraft, enabling long-haul intercontinental services.
The airline has already taken delivery of three out of its seven aircraft in 2025, underscoring both Sun Group’s strong financial capacity and long-term commitment to aviation. This also lays the foundation for SPA’s long-term strategy to position Phu Quoc alongside leading regional destinations such as Bali (Indonesia), Phuket (Thailand), and the Maldives.
Agency policy – A strategic bridge
At the seminar, Sun PhuQuoc Airways announced its distribution policies and emphasized the pivotal role of agents – not just as sales channels, but as strategic bridges bringing world-class flight experiences to passengers, helping the airline rapidly build market coverage and trust.
In addition to air tickets, SPA is introducing bundled products. Passengers will enjoy exclusive privileges across Sun Group’s ecosystem, from luxury stays at 5-star resorts to entertainment at Sun World theme parks, shows, shopping, and dining experiences – an integrated advantage that no other group in Vietnam currently offers. This model not only elevates the travel experience but also optimizes total trip costs: instead of booking separate services, travelers can enjoy a complete Phu Quoc holiday at a more competitive price, thanks to exclusive benefits across every stage of the journey. This is the core difference Sun PhuQuoc Airways brings – transforming the “fly – stay – play” concept into a practical and convenient value system that empowers agents with attractive products, enhances customer value, and maximizes sales opportunities.

A representative of Sun Hospitality & Entertainment (S.H.E), a Sun Group member, added: “What makes Sun PhuQuoc Airways unique is that we are not simply selling a flight, but an entire journey. When agents sell SPA tickets, they are handing customers a complete holiday – from the moment of take-off to every experience on the ground.”
The 2025 Agent Seminar Series “Where the Sun Leads the Way” is more than just an information-sharing event – it marks the beginning of a strong, long-term partnership between Sun PhuQuoc Airways and nationwide agents. Through this platform, the airline reaffirms its meticulous preparation and extends a respectful invitation for collaboration – empowering its distribution network to bring the brand closer to customers. This serves as the foundation for joint success, offering travelers easier access to Phu Quoc flights and realizing the vision of elevating the Pearl Island to a world-class destination.
