Hue Signs Infrastructure Development Cooperation Agreement with Thai Binh Duong Construction Group

Thai Binh Duong Construction Group (China) has proposed researching and implementing several key transport infrastructure projects, including the La Son - Chan May Port expressway, Ring Road 2, and Ring Road 3.

These projects are of vital significance in enhancing regional connectivity, alleviating inner-city traffic pressure, and expanding development space.

These remarks were made by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee, during the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between the Hue City People's Committee and Thai Binh Duong Construction Group (China) on the afternoon of April 7, 2026. This event marks a new phase of cooperation between Hue City and Thai Binh Duong Construction Group, particularly in the fields of investment, construction, operation, and urban infrastructure planning.

According to the Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee, following previous working sessions, both parties have reached a consensus on a comprehensive cooperation framework. This includes transport infrastructure development, urban renovation and expansion, and the construction of new functional zones. Furthermore, the partnership will extend into education and training, specialized healthcare, and other socio-economic sectors.

The Chairman emphasized that the signing of this MoU is a major milestone that not only strengthens the bilateral relationship but also opens new development opportunities for the city in the coming period. The successful implementation of these projects will provide the momentum for infrastructure growth, contributing to the goal of transforming Hue into a modern, sustainably developed city built on the foundation of culture and heritage.

Hue City leaders affirmed that they would create all favorable conditions regarding mechanisms, policies, and administrative procedures to ensure the collaborative projects are implemented effectively and promptly.

Mr. Nghiêm Hạo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thai Binh Duong Construction Group, noted that Hue is a city with immense development potential and a clear strategic direction. Given the city's vision, the Group aims to leverage its strengths in investment and infrastructure construction to partner with Hue in executing large-scale, modern projects that make practical contributions to local socio-economic growth.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thai Binh Duong Construction Group also stated that they would mobilize international resources, technology, and expertise to coordinate closely with the city in researching, proposing, and implementing projects, ensuring efficiency, quality, and sustainability.

Under the terms of the MoU, both sides agreed to cooperate based on the research, proposal, and implementation of projects in urban infrastructure, transport, and the renovation and expansion of urban spaces.

Additionally, they will collaborate in education, specialized healthcare, and various socio-economic fields aligned with Hue’s development orientation. Specifically, both parties will focus on key transport infrastructure projects to improve connectivity and create new growth drivers for the city in the near future.
