Mr. Pham Tan Cong assigned as Secretary of the VCCI’s Party Committee
On the afternoon of February 27, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and Central mass organizations held a conference to announce the Decision to appoint the Party Secretary and the organizational structure of VCCI.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Member of the Party Central Executive Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Central mass organizations, Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, chaired the conference.
At the conference, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha presented the decision to assign Mr. Pham Tan Cong, President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) as the Secretary of the VCCI’s Party Committee.
The VCCI’s Party Committee is under the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and central mass organizations. The VCCI’s Party Committee has the function of comprehensively leading the implementation of political tasks, organizational works, Party building, and mass operations of the VCCI.

The VCCI was established on April 27, 1963. Since then, VCCI has started its journey to follow the nation's economic growth as well as the business community in Vietnam. In the 62 years since its establishment and growth, VCCI has consistently been at the forefront of putting Vietnam's renovation policies into practice, actively supporting their widespread promotion overseas and fostering investment and trade partnerships between Vietnam and other nations...
Since its establishment, VCCI has developed from 93 members to a vast statewide membership network that includes more than 200 business associations and 200,000 member companies across all industries.
Following its restructuring, the VCCI Party Committee for the 2020–2025 term will be led by Mr. Pham Tan Cong, Party Committee Secretary and President of the VCCI; Nguyen Quang Vinh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice-President of the VCCI; Hoang Quang Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice-President of the VCCI; seven members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee; and twenty-three members of the Party Committee Executive Committee.
VCCI’s Party Committee has 28 affiliated Party organizations with 04 grassroots Party Committees including: VCCI Office’s Party Committee; VCCI – IP’s Party Committee; Business Forum Magazine’s Party Committee; VCCI Ho Chi Minh City’s Party Committee and 14 Party cells.
