The National Assembly always accompanies enterprises and enterpreneurs

The National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue met with a representative delegation of family businesses nationwide.

To develop Vietnam's enterprises, we must cultivate Vietnamese entrepreneurs with business ethics and social responsibility through entrepreneurial family creation, cultural personality cultivation, and the promotion of excellent traditional values.

Strike force

The enterprise and entrepreneur community is seen as a strike force at the forefront of the country's industrialization and modernization. The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Vietnam Family Business Council play critical roles in implementing Resolution 41-NQ/TW by developing Vietnamese family business culture as well as the business culture of the Vietnamese enterprise community.

During the most difficult phase of the COVID-19 epidemic, the National Assembly and Government have constantly accompanied the Vietnamese enterprise and entrepreneur community in order to achieve macroeconomic stability as an "unchanging" element in response to the "volatility" of the global economy.

For the first time in history, the National Assembly convened in extraordinary meetings to enact steps to prevent and battle the spread of COVID-19 in order to alleviate hardships for individuals and businesses while also creating more jobs... As a result, the Vietnamese economy attained strong growth rates and low inflation when compared to other nations across the world.

The Vietnamese family business community is not only growing in size, but its managerial skills and social responsibilities are also improving.

Many family businesses are among the top 50 listed firms in Vietnam. Many family enterprises, such as THACO, Vingroup, Sovico, BRG, TH True milk..., have developed to become well-known private ones not only in the country but also across the world.

The Vietnamese family business community, as well as the activities of the Vietnam Family Business Council, are always supported by the National Assembly, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, and the Chairman of the National Assembly.

I wish entrepreneurs and businesses interested in developing, cultivating, and training business ethics, business culture, national spirit, patriotism, and the desire to devote themselves to a powerful Vietnam, to increase their social responsibility for sustainable development, and to be worthy entrepreneurs who represent a developed, civilized, and happy Vietnam.

Building a Vietnamese business culture

Vietnamese entrepreneurs have to put ethics at the core of Vietnamese business culture, develop and implement business ethics and culture, and absorb the elite of world business culture. They should consider this an urgent duty as well as a long-term strategy for strengthening the Vietnamese enterprise and entrepreneur community in the new context.

Many businesses have fulfilled their social responsibility by supporting the Vietnamese people's valuable traditions. They have actively participated in programs aimed at eradicating hunger and poverty, as well as assisting people in dealing with the consequences of natural disasters.

Businesses must cooperate with each other, particularly between small and medium-sized enterprises and large enterprises, as well as between domestic and foreign-invested enterprises, in order to participate more deeply in the global value chain; focus on connectivity by industry, production cluster, and value chains.

On October 10, 2023, Secretary-General Nguyen Phu Long signed Politburo Resolution 41-NQ/TW on the role of the Vietnamese entrepreneurial team in the new era. The Resolution proposes fresh perspectives, orientations, and solutions to meet the development requirements of businesses and the country.

The Resolution also recognizes the entrepreneurial team's crucial position and role as one of the driving factors behind the country's industrialization and modernization.. The Resolution also calls for the formation of a national entrepreneurial team. This is a new aspect in regard to Politburo's Resolution No. 9.

The Party and the State have long emphasized the importance of the enterprise and entrepreneur community in the development of the country, stating that it is one of the core teams at the forefront of the nation's industrialization and modernization. The policies of the Party and the State are always in the best interests of the people and the business, and put them at the centre.
