At the recent national finals of the Entrepreneurship World Cup competition held in Ha Noi, Vietnam, TUBUDD won first place.

The Entrepreneurship World Cup National Finals in Viet Nam

Annie Vu, CEO of TUBUDD, , an innovative platform website and app that provides a singular and endless service by connecting tourists to local professionals or local pals, captured the prize and advances to the next round of the global competition against national winners from 200 countries. "Our customers are travelers. They are spending so much time and money on researching Vietnam as a destination. They want to connect with a local person to ask many questions, also want to experience the country/city they visit from a local point of view, not as a robot on a tour and share the same experience with everyone else" said Annie Vu.

Tubudd is about human touch, that the tour industry is dying out for a new way of communication that makes traveling to a new place more interesting and insightful. Instead of building a technology where people can sit in a room and view 360 degrees around the world or read what other people do and the feed back and stories online.

Annie Vu will attend a bootcamp in preparation for the EWC Global Finals, which will include virtual training and mentoring sessions tailored to their company's current stage and growth trajectory.

TUBUDD emerged victorious from a pool of over 100 contestants who applied – each receiving access to free virtual training services and up to $25,000 in perks to help them take their venture to the next level.

As a Global Finalist, Annie Vu will compete for a share of USD 1 million in cash prizes. The top 100 global finalists will receive $100,000 worth of in-kind services and support from service providers such as AWS, Freshworks, Oracle, Hubspot, Stripe and Segment. Global finalists also gain automatic entry into the GEN Starters Club, an invitation-only community of talented founders from around the world.

Other finalists in the EWC Viet Nam National Finals included:

Drinkizz from Ho Chi Minh City, a startup that is an innovative company providing the market with the world's first organic natural energy drink. Drinkzz created a new concept: Organic Natural Energy (O.N.E) drinks from organic farms to smart cans.

My Meta Farm from Ho Chi Minh City, a startup that is an emerging metaverse integrated with a huge open world and social gaming hub powered by blockchain technology. My Meta Farm can provide a Web3 Platform for creators and brands to freely create digital assets in different sectors. The assets could be applied in metaverse socialization, stored, or traded.
