VCCI and PwC promote cooperation to support sustainable business development in 2026
VCCI and PwC discussed strengthening cooperation, focusing on the CEO survey, the data economy, corporate rankings, and sustainable development initiatives associated with the programs of the APEC Year 2027.
On the afternoon of February 25 at the VCCI Headquarters in Hanoi, Mr. Nguyễn Quang Vinh, Vice President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), held a working meeting with Ms. Lương Thị Ánh Tuyết, Deputy General Director of PwC Vietnam, to discuss prospects for cooperation in the new year 2026.

Appreciating PwC’s active participation and cooperation with VCCI’s activities over many years, Vice President Nguyễn Quang Vinh affirmed that PwC globally has contributed positively to VCCI’s business agenda programs. Accordingly, PwC global has shared extensive experience in the initial formation process of the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD).
PwC is also the Knowledge Partner of the APEC CEO Summit and Vietnam Business Summit 2017. After the success of the APEC CEO Summit 2017, PwC continued to coordinate with VCCI (International Relations Department) to compile the annual handbook Doing business with Viet Nam – which also served as the basis for both sides to implement the Vietnam Business Summit 2018, 2019…
Also at the meeting, sharing the story of the ecosystem in Silicon Valley, the VCCI Vice President emphasized a new approach to technology ideas, even from young people and new startups – those with the highest levels of creativity. “A competitive environment and openness in a diverse creative space from young ideas, commercial enterprises, and the ‘lifeblood’ from funds create a vibrant development ecosystem. This shows that we need to build and develop an innovation ecosystem and boldly apply new models for breakthrough development,” emphasized VCCI Vice President Nguyễn Quang Vinh.

Expressing pleasure at having time to work with VCCI leaders, Ms. Lương Thị Ánh Tuyết, Deputy General Director of PwC Vietnam, said that in order to promote the implementation of initiatives aimed at improving the business environment, PwC has recently agreed with VCCI’s International Relations Department to launch a pilot phase to conduct two studies: PwC’s Global CEO Survey to assess the gap in management capabilities between foreign CEOs and Vietnamese CEOs, identify causes, and propose recommendations; and the handbook Doing Business in Viet Nam 2026, focusing on analyzing the potential of Vietnam’s Data Economy.
In addition to the products implemented together with VCCI’s International Relations Department, PwC leadership proposed further cooperation with VCCI to bring useful programs and events to the business community. In particular, PwC hopes to have VCCI’s partnership in the VN100 ranking, which assesses corporate creditworthiness regarding financial “health,” along with indicators on ESG, green development, and sustainability.
“With a strong institutional foundation from resolutions on the State Economy and the Private Economy, trends in corporate governance and sustainable development are requirements for businesses both now and in the future. This is also PwC’s strength and direction in the coming time. Therefore, we hope for more accompanying cooperation from VCCI,” emphasized the Deputy General Director of PwC Vietnam.

PwC leadership proposed additional cooperation with VCCI to bring useful programs and events to the business community.
Noting the plan to cooperate on developing a CEO survey between Vietnam and the world, Mr. Nguyễn Quang Vinh said that after completing the survey, there should be an event to announce and analyze the results and create additional value for the business community from those findings.
Regarding corporate rankings, Mr. Nguyễn Quang Vinh affirmed support for programs that bring benefits to the business community. At the same time, he said that VCCI currently has many prestigious awards within the business community such as: Outstanding Entrepreneurs (Saint Giong Cup); Golden Rose Award (for women entrepreneurs); Corporate Social Responsibility Award (CSI Award), which was later transformed into a ranking with the CSI index set; …

Leaders of VCCI and PwC affirmed expanding cooperation programs in the coming time.
“In 2026, VCCI, as Co-Chair of the APEC Business Advisory Council, will work with the ‘host’ China to prepare for APEC 2026 in China and APEC in Vietnam in 2027. The APEC Business Advisory Council as well as working groups have been considering the topics for discussion to submit to the Leaders of the 21 APEC economies. Preparations have been underway intensively from the very first days of 2026. With its role as Co-Chair of the APEC Business Advisory Council, VCCI is also working with relevant agencies and organizations on side events such as the Business Summit with the participation of Heads of State in 2027, similar to APEC in 2017. VCCI is very pleased with PwC’s interest in cooperation in upcoming activities, especially programs related to APEC,” emphasized VCCI Vice President Nguyễn Quang Vinh.
