VCCI, Auscham Join Forces to Empower SMEs and Business Leaders

According to Mr. Pham Tan Cong, VCCI is a national organization that represents a community of hundreds of thousands of businesses and business associations in Vietnam. It is a reputable and active member of international trade associations and organizations. However, in order for Vietnam to move forward and align itself with developed countries by 2045, as outlined in the goals of the 13th National Party Congress, business leaders and the business community must also stand on equal footing with their counterparts from other countries in all aspects. This goes beyond just capital, technology, or products; it encompasses culture, lifestyle, business ethics, and social reputation. This is a significant and challenging goal that VCCI is entrusted to lead, promote, and support Vietnamese business leaders and the business community to achieve.

Mr. Pham Tan Cong expressed his confidence in Auscham’s ability to provide support in training business leaders to face challenges and adapt to the constant changes in the international business environment.

In agreement with VCCI President, Mr. Simon Pugh emphasized that for Vietnamese businesses to maintain and enhance competitiveness in the era of globalization, leadership training is an integral part that cannot be overlooked. The rapid changes in the global supply chain demand that businesses possess the knowledge and skills to manage, operate, and optimize their activities effectively.

Mr. Simon Pugh emphasized that Australia is one of Vietnam’s top ten trading partners, with 360 Australian businesses seeking investment opportunities in Vietnam. For both countries, it is crucial to ensure that business leaders receive proper training to understand the local market. Auscham is collaborating with Australian business schools and training institutions to implement a management training program for business leaders who are members of VCCI.

In addition, the Chairman of Auscham Vietnam expressed interest in cooperation and partnerships between small and medium-sized enterprises from both countries.

During the meeting, Mr. Pham Tan Cong and Mr. Simon Pugh discussed trade promotion between Vietnam and Australia. Both parties recognized the importance of enhancing trade relations and agreed to jointly create trade promotion programs and opportunities for cooperation and development for businesses from both countries

This meeting and working session are not only a significant step in the collaboration between VCCI and Auscham Vietnam but also signify the commitment of both organizations to support sustainable and competitive business development in Vietnam, as well as to promote trade relations between the two countries.
