VCCI President Ho Sy Hung elected as deputy of the 16th National Assembly
On the afternoon of March 21, the National Election Council held a press conference to announce the Resolution of the National Election Council on the election results and the list of elected candidates to the 16th National Assembly.
At the constituency No. 4, comprising the wards of Ha Dong, Duong Noi, Yen Nghia, Phu Luong, Kien Hung, Tu Liem, Xuan Phuong, Tay Mo, and Dai Mo, with the trust of the voters, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Sy Hung, President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) was elected as deputy of the 16th National Assembly.
At the meeting between voters and candidates for the 16th National Assembly, term 2026-2031, in the constituency No. 4, in his Action Program, Mr. Ho Sy Hung expressed that, if entrusted by the voters, he commits to implementing the action program with several key tasks, such as:
First, continuously cultivate and improve the moral character of a representative of the people, remaining absolutely loyal to the Fatherland, the People, and the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; regularly study, enhance knowledge, and cultivate political will and fortitude to fulfill the duties of an elected representative; maintain a clean, simple, and exemplary lifestyle in work and life, while encouraging family and the people to do the same; resolutely fight against corruption, waste, bureaucracy, and other negative manifestations.
Second, he pledges to fully fulfill the duties, rights, and responsibilities of a National Assembly deputy, worthy of representing the will, aspirations, and interests of the people. Fourth, he will preside over or participate in organizing activities to promote trade, investment, and tourism; foster entrepreneurship and business development; support micro-small-and medium-sized enterprises, individual business households; promote product consumption; and attract tourists to contribute to the economic development of the Hanoi Capital as well as create jobs and livelihoods for the city's people. At the same time, he will prioritize promoting the resolution of pressing issues in Hanoi such as flooding, traffic jam; urban order, environmental sanitation, air pollution, food safety; combat counterfeit goods and commercial fraud, and protecting consumers, aiming to build a more modern, green, clean, beautiful, civilized, and cultured Capital, strengthening cultural institutions and promoting the elegant and refined traditions of Hanoi people, ensuring that the Capital always remains a model livable city of the country and the world.
