VCCI to accompany the business community

Officials and employees of enterprises participated in the professional training course of VCCI Hai Phong

Mr. Phi Van Duc, Director of VCCI Hai Phong said that despite the raging epidemic, VCCI Hai Phong still actively worked with local government leaders to coordinate with the People's Committees of Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Hai Duong, and Thai Binh to remove difficulties and challenges for businesses and improve the business environment of localities.

Various forms of support

The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly affected VCCI Hai Phong's business community support activities. However, in addition to traditional measures, such as Zalo…, VCCI Hai Phong continues to actively garther information on business operations and epidemic prevention and control of provinces and cities in the region, as well as information on undertakings, policies, regulations, and support mechanisms from the government which businesses can access through electronic means such as email...

One of the strengths of VCCI Hai Phong is that it regularly organizes training courses, especially for business leaders to expand investment and business. VCCI Hai Phong also often organizes surveys and promotes domestic and foreign investment while renovating the Entrepreneur Coffee Program according to practical topics to improve the quality of operations and attract more businesses to attend this program, thereby turning these coffee sessions into useful playgrounds for Hai Phong city's business community.

VCCI Hai Phong proactively worked with the People's Committees of provinces and cities to arrange for officials and employees of various businesses to have priority access to the source of vaccines against COVID-19. In particular, VCCI Hai Phong worked with the Hai Phong Department of Health to vaccinate 1,500 key leaders and officials of businesses operating in Hai Phong city.

New missions

According to Mr. Phi Van Duc, in order to stick with local organizations, VCCI Hai Phong has actively participated in Council for consultancy, assessment, and acceptance of the results of city-level science and technology tasks; Advisory Council for Administrative Procedure Reform; International Economic Cooperation Committee; Steering Committee of Science and Technology Program to Support Enterprises; Labor Arbitration Council; and Advisory Group of the National Assembly deputies delegation of Hai Phong City. Through these activities, businesses and entrepreneurs in Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Thai Binh, Hung Yen, and Hai Duong have a playground for cooperation. These activities are highly appreciated by the business community.

VCCI Hai Phong will continue to accompany the business community while performing the six new tasks and missions of VCCI in the coming months, including creating a favorable business environment for enterprises; developing forms of support for the business community; linking and supporting business associations to develop their operations; building the business culture of the Vietnamese business community; strengthening international integration; innovating the operation method in a more effective way to create a civilized, modern, and motivated working environment, contributing to the strong development of the Vietnamese business community.
