VCCI's Party Committee studies, grasps, and implements Resolution No. 79 and Resolution No. 80

On the morning of February 25, the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam organized a national conference to study, learn, grasp, and implement Resolution No. 79 on the development of the state economy and Resolution No. 80 on the development of Vietnamese culture issued by the Politburo. On the morning of February 25, the Secretariat organized a national conference to study, learn, grasp, and implement Resolution No. 79 on the development of the state economy and Resolution No. 80 on the development of Vietnamese culture issued by the Politburo.

The conference was held in person at Diên Hồng Hall, National Assembly Building of Vietnam, combined with an online format connected to 27,284 locations at the central level, provinces, cities, communes, wards, special zones, Party organizations in the military, police, and enterprises, with more than 2 million delegates attending. The conference was also broadcast live on the VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television; broadcast live on the Current Affairs channel VOV1 and VOV Giao thông of Voice of Vietnam and on digital platforms.

Also attending the conference were Politburo member of the 13th tenure and State President Lương Cường; former Politburo member and former State President Trương Tấn Sang (attending at the Tây Ninh connection point); Politburo member of the 13th tenure and Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính; Politburo member and Chairman of the National Assembly Trần Thanh Mẫn; former Politburo member and former Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyễn Sinh Hùng; and Politburo member and Permanent Member of the Secretariat Trần Cẩm Tú.

Also attending the conference were members of the Politburo, members of the Secretariat, and members of the Party Central Committee attending at the central connection point and connection points nationwide; leaders of central commissions, ministries, sectors, the Fatherland Front, and central mass organizations; members of the Central Inspection Commission, members of the Central Military Commission, the Central Public Security Party Committee, Party Committees of central Party agencies, the Government Party Committee, the National Assembly Party Committee, the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and central mass organizations; leaders at the department, bureau, and equivalent levels of Party advisory and assisting agencies at the central level, Party Committees of central Party agencies; Chairpersons of Members’ Councils/Boards of Directors and General Directors of state economic groups, corporations, and state-owned banks; leaders of strategy, investment, finance, credit, and enterprise development departments; heads of bureaus, departments, institutes, and theaters under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; People’s Artists in the fields of cinema, theater, dance, music, and broadcasting; leaders of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations; authors awarded the Hồ Chí Minh Prize and the State Prize in literature and arts; and researchers in culture and arts.

At the connection points of provincial and municipal Party Committees, Party agencies and organizations, attendees included Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries; members of the Standing Committees of provincial and municipal Party Committees, members of provincial and municipal Party Executive Committees, leaders of departments, sectors, and mass organizations of provinces and cities, together with all leaders and Party members at communes, wards, special zones, and grassroots Party organizations in the localities; leaders of branches and member units of state economic groups, corporations, and state-owned banks located in the localities; leaders of art units, People’s Artists, Meritorious Artists, and authors awarded the Hồ Chí Minh Prize and the State Prize in literature and arts.

According to the program, at the conference, delegates listened to Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and Head of the Central Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization Trịnh Văn Quyết presenting the thematic report “Key and core contents of Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW dated January 7, 2026 of the Politburo on the development of Vietnamese culture”; Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission Nguyễn Thanh Nghị presenting the thematic report “Key and core contents of Resolution No. 79-NQ/TW dated January 6, 2026 of the Politburo on the development of the state economy”; and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyễn Hòa Bình presenting the thematic report “Action program to implement Resolution No. 79-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW of the Politburo.”
