Yen Phong District (Bac Ninh): Breakthrough steps forward

Yen Phong District, located in the western part of Bac Ninh Province, has been undergoing a strong transformation in recent years. With a clear determination to become a key industrial hub of the province, Yen Phong is focusing on the development of high-tech services and regional-level supporting industries. The leadership of the District Party Committee and the People’s Committee consistently adopts a breakthrough mindset, proactively driving robust development efforts with the goal of becoming a provincial city of Bac Ninh in the near future.

Yen Phong is making the most of its favorable conditions, including a strategic location close to major industrial zones, a well-developed transportation infrastructure, and an abundant labor force, to build a modern industrial economy. The district has identified the development of supporting industries and high-tech services as two key pillars in its development roadmap.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hoan, Chairman of the Yen Phong District People’s Committee, the district aims to strongly develop its supporting industries while encouraging businesses to invest in high-tech sectors such as electronics, precision engineering, and information technology. At the same time, the district will focus on expanding industrial support services to create a favorable business environment for enterprises to thrive.

Alongside these efforts, the district is placing strong emphasis on developing infrastructure for high-tech industrial zones, promoting innovation in production, and prioritizing the training of high-quality human resources to meet the growing demands of the labor market.

“One of the most important factors behind Yen Phong District’s remarkable economic achievements is the unity and dynamism of the Party organization, local authorities, and the people”, shared Mr. Nguyen Van Hoan. “Unity has been the core strength throughout the district’s development journey, enabling us to overcome challenges and accomplish key goals”.

To meet development needs, Yen Phong District has been making significant investments in its urban infrastructure. One of the top priorities is improving and upgrading transportation infrastructure, along with building modern urban areas that are well-equipped with facilities and amenities to serve the residents' needs.

Key transportation projects, such as the main routes connecting Yen Phong to industrial zones and Bac Ninh City, have been implemented to promote trade, goods transportation, and facilitate easy connectivity with other provinces and cities. Additionally, the technical infrastructure and public services are also being improved to meet the needs of residents and businesses in the area.

Yen Phong District also places great emphasis on urban planning to ensure sustainable urban development, combining environmental protection with efficient resource use. Urban planning projects are being carried out in a scientific manner, creating comfortable living and working spaces for residents while also attracting both domestic and foreign investors.
