Our reporter interviewed Mr. Bui Hoai Son, a Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education, about these contents.

What are your thoughts on the spirit of the Politburo’s Resolution No. 41/NQ-TW, whose substance is "building business ethics and culture, promoting national spirit, arousing the desire to develop a prosperous and happy country"?

Building business ethics and culture, encouraging national spirit, and inspiring a desire to develop a prosperous and happy country are all vital messages of our Party. Social ethics and culture include business ethics and culture. When business ethics and culture become conventional, they will permeate widely throughout society.

The business culture is gradually becoming an inescapable and objective trend in modern society, contributing to a business environment with the spirit of respect for the law, social responsibility, and healthy competition, thereby boosting the country's long-term growth.

It is critical to promote the national spirit and arouse the aspirations for a prosperous  and happy country in the development of business culture. National spirit may assist individuals in contributing to national growth, establish constructive interactions between classes and castes in society, and encourage national unity.

The desire to develop a prosperous and happy country is a significant source of motivation for promoting growth and progress, providing a shared objective for society and enterprises, and inspiring people to overcome challenges.

Furthermore, national spirit may play a key role in conserving and strengthening the nation's traditional culture and distinctive values, preserving variety and originality in business culture.

How can entrepreneurs be encouraged to engage in the promotion of business ethics and culture in the business community and society, sir?

To encourage entrepreneurs to participate in promoting business ethics and culture in the business community and society, I believe a number of things must be done:

First, the Government can implement rules and initiatives to encourage entrepreneurs to engage in activities that promote society and business ethics as well as in the business fields where they may profit while also contributing to society.

Second, society must create typical representations, with entrepreneurs serving as role models, displaying the usual pictures of business ethics: operating ethically, transparently, and sustainably, from business management to connections with workers, partners, and consumers.

Third, offer entrepreneurs training programs on business ethics and culture to assist them better grasp the significance of business ethics and how to put it into practice.

Fourth, encourage entrepreneurs to engage in social activities such as charity projects, financial support for social groups, and participation in societal initiatives.

Entrepreneurs should also cultivate strong relationships with local communities in order to better understand and address their concerns; Encourage and support social innovation initiatives. Entrepreneurs may give ideas, funds, and expertise to help tackle pressing societal issues while collaborating with social and non-profit organizations to link entrepreneurs with initiatives and events relevant to social concerns.

VCCI President Pham Tan Cong said Resolution 41-NQ/TW is a synchronization and concretization of the orientations stated in the 13th National Party Congress.

These policies can help entrepreneurs spread entrepreneurial principles and cultural values in society while also establishing a positive and sustainable economic and social environment.

How, in your opinion, will the spread of business ethics affect Vietnam's economic and social situation?

I believe that spreading business ethics may benefit both our country's economic and social situations. The first step is to establish a transparent and equitable business  environment. When entrepreneurs follow business ethics, they contribute to the creation of a transparent business environment, lower the danger of corruption, and promote equal opportunity for all enterprises.

The second step is to earn the trust of customers and partners. Business ethics foster trust among consumers and partners, motivating them to collaborate and continue to support the company.

The third step is to improve the quality of products and services. Business ethics are frequently concerned with generating and delivering high-quality goods and services. This can boost competitiveness and provide value to customers.

The fourth is to help with social development. Spreading entrepreneurial ethics has the potential to generate social value by creating jobs and investing in social and humanitarian projects, therefore improving people's quality of life and reducing poverty.

The fifth step is to foster a pleasant work atmosphere. Ethical entrepreneurs frequently foster pleasant work environments, assisting people to become more productive and engaged, resulting in long-term economic growth.

Sixth, business ethics contribute to a country's worldwide image, generating advantageous circumstances for investment and international cooperation.
