Taiwan identified as Shinec's target market
Taiwan is Vietnam's fifth-largest trading partner and target market that Shinec Joint Stock Company (SHINEC) is focusing on investment promotion.
The China Times, ranked as the second most-read online newspaper in Taiwan in 2023, recently reported directly on Shinec’s investment promotion event held on July 19th.

The event attracted a large number of partners and potential customers interested in the investment environment in Vietnam. This was not only an opportunity for Shinec to introduce the potential and advantages of their projects but also a chance to meet partners, exchange ideas, and establish long-term, sustainable cooperation.
At the promotion conference, Shinec showcased attractive investment opportunities in four eco-industrial park and cluster projects in Vietnam. Specifically, these are the Nam Cau Kien Eco-Industrial Park, Dung Tien - Giang Bien Industrial Cluster, and An Tho Industrial Cluster in Hai Phong City, a rapidly developing industrial hub.
Shinec also introduced the Dam Ha Industrial Cluster in Quang Ninh, one of the fastest-growing economic regions in northern Vietnam. These areas not only have a plentiful and high-quality labor force but also boast a well-developed transportation infrastructure and streamlined administrative procedures.

Pham Hong Diep, Chairman of SHINEC, emphasized, “Shinec is committed to accompanying and supporting our customers and investors throughout the investment process in Vietnam, from the preparation stage to the implementation and development of the projects. We are ready to provide support, consultation, and optimal solutions to ensure the success and sustainability of investment projects.”
Joining this conference were Shinec’s key partners in Taiwan, Core Pacific Group, and the Asia Business Development Center - KPMG.

Commenting on Shinec which is Core Pacific Group’s strategic partner in Vietnam, Chih-Chung Tsai, Chief Financial Officer of Core Pacific Group, noted, “Shinec Group has developed industrial and eco-industrial park and cluster projects meeting international standards, attracting investors worldwide. We highly appreciate Shinec’s professionalism and dedication in assisting foreign businesses to establish and expand operations in Vietnam, creating new opportunities for them seeking competitive advantages in the region.”
Vincent Wu, Deputy Director of Strategy at the Asia Business Development Center - KPMG, after providing in-depth analysis on Vietnam’s economic stability and supportive investment policies, affirmed that Vietnam is becoming an ideal destination for investors looking for opportunities to expand their markets. He also expressed confidence that cooperation between Taiwanese and Vietnamese businesses would yield significant benefits and promote sustainable development for both sides.

During the event, after hearing a detailed introduction about the attractive investment opportunities in Shinec’s projects and recognizing the potential of the An Tho Industrial Cluster, Shouh Tay Metal Company highly appreciated the benefits and prospects of this project. Shouh Tay Metal decided to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with An Tho Investment Joint Stock Company.
Founded in 1992, Shouh Tay Metal has grown from regional trading to supplying three major industrial projects in Taiwan, including steel mills, stainless steel plants, and foundries for high, medium, and low-frequency furnaces, becoming a supplier for major foundries in northern, central, and southern Taiwan. This marks an important start, paving the way for long-term and sustainable cooperation between the two sides and driving the strong development of the An Tho project in the future.
Shinec’s investment promotion conference left a strong impression on Taiwanese investors. Hsi-An Wu from Yuan Chang Tsay Industry Co., Ltd commented, “This investment promotion conference was truly impressive and provided valuable information. The advantages of investing in Shinec’s industrial projects were clearly presented, from modern infrastructure and business support policies to utility services. I feel very confident in investing here, as it not only offers profit opportunities but also comprehensive support from Shinec.”
