Top leader pledges to enhance Viet Nam's contributions to global peace, stability and development

In his oath-taking remarks, To pledged absolute loyalty to the Fatherland, the people and the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, and committed to fulfilling the duties entrusted by the Party, State and people.

The top Party and State leader sincerely expressed his gratitude to voters and people nationwide for electing him and entrusting him with this responsibility.

He also expressed his profound gratitude for the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh-the great leader and brilliant founder of the Party and the Vietnamese nation as well as the predecessors, revolutionary veterans, Communist Party members, and millions of heroic martyrs and generations of people who have made great contributions to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Vietnamese nation.

To said, assuming the positions of the General Secretary and State President is an immense honor, a sacred and noble responsibility and duty, as well as a reflection of the trust and expectations placed by the entire Party, people, and armed forces.

He pledged to lead the revolutionary cause through all challenges and hardships toward its goals, fulfilling the wishes of President Ho Chi Minh and the aspirations of the Vietnamese nation.

The top priority in his role as the General Secretary and State President is to maintain a peaceful and stable environment, promote rapid and sustainable development, comprehensively improve the people's quality of life so that they can fully benefit from the fruits of development and enhance Viet Nam's contributions to peace, stability and development in the region and the world, noted the leader.

The foremost focus, he stressed, is to deeply grasp and thoroughly implement the principle that "the people are the root," strongly promoting the people's central role, mobilizing their strength, and fostering the great national unity bloc.

The highest goal and ultimate destination is to ensure that the people truly benefit from the achievements of development, underlined To.

He vowed to work with the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire armed forces, to build a socialist rule-of-law state, develop an economy that is self-reliant, self-sufficient, and resilient and build a comprehensive, people-centered, and modern national defense and security system.

To committed to developing a streamlined, effective, and efficient political system and a society that is developed, united, cultured, and humane as well as establishing a new growth model driven by science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

He pledged to work towards building a modern national education system and perfecting the models, mechanisms, and policies for a modern, comprehensive, inclusive, and sustainable social development.

Regarding foreign affairs and international integration, he committed to following the principle of ensuring the highest national interests; taking peace, independence, autonomy, and self-reliance as the foundation; placing the people at the center of all policies; considering contributions to the international community as a responsibility.

The leader pledged to perfect and implement the strategies for national defense and security; prioritize strengthening capabilities and achieving strategic autonomy in defense and security and building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern armed force; and consolidate a peaceful, stable, secure, orderly, disciplined, safe, and healthy environment at a high level, contributing to peace and stability in the region and the world.

He expressed his hope to receive close coordination from the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, the National Assembly, ministries and agencies to fulfil the highest mission of the head of state to safeguard, build, and develop the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and serve the people.

To expressed his belief that with high determinations, Viet Nam will certainly continue to write new and brilliant chapters in its development journey and successfully achieve the strategic goals, stated the top leader./.
