CPV Food Bình Phước proudly announces an impressive export milestone, reaching a total of 10,000 tons of processed chicken exported to Japan since officially entering the market in 2022.
This achievement contributes to an accumulated export value of approximately more than 1700 billion of VND during the 2021–2025 period, positioning CPV Food Bình Phước among Vietnam’s leading exporters of processed chicken products. Currently, CPV Food employs over 3,000 staff across its farms, slaughterhouses, and processing facilities — all meeting international export standards to supply both domestic and global markets. This represents a new business venture that C.P. Group has invested in and developed in Vietnam.
The announcement was made at a ceremony attended by distinguished representatives, from Dong Nai Province’s People Committee; Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dong Nai, Mr. Masuo Ono, Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City; and Mr. Tanaka Yusuke, First Secretary at the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam. Their presence reflects the shared commitment of Vietnamese and Japanese stakeholders to strengthen agricultural trade and cooperation.
Mr. Pawalit Ua- Amornwanit, CEO at C.P. Vietnam, shared: “This achievement demonstrates how CPV Food Bình Phước, designed as a fully integrated model with international standards at its core, can reliably serve one of the world’s most demanding markets. It reflects the results of our long-term investment in technology and standardized processes, laying the foundation for further enhancements in production standards and strengthening our competitiveness in processed poultry exports”.
The milestone comes as Vietnam and Japan deepen agricultural collaboration. In September 2025, both countries launched the third phase of their Medium- to Long-Term Vision for Agricultural Cooperation (2025–2030), following steady bilateral growth in trade in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, from USD 3.02 billion in 2015 to approximately USD 4.9 billion in 2024.
Mr. Masuo Ono, Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City, said: “I am very pleased to see that business activities are being developed through the collaboration between C.P. Vietnam and Japanese companies. We understand that C.P. Vietnam has established a fully integrated production and processing system here in Đồng Nai Province — from feed production and poultry farming to chicken meat processing. The processed products are not only supplied within Vietnam but also exported to countries beyond Japan.”
At the event, Ms. Nguyễn Thị Hoàng, Vice Chairwoman of the People’s Committee of Dong Nai Province, shared: “The celebration of the fifth anniversary of CPV Food Bình Phước demonstrates the company’s strong determination and tremendous effort in achieving its accomplishments to date, marking an important milestone in its growth and development. I hope that in the coming years, the company will continue to build on these achievements, further enhancing professionalism, supporting and collaborating with poultry farms to form a complete supply chain, expanding production, and placing food safety at the forefront of its operations. At the same time, the company shall continue to prioritize disease-safe production, environmental protection, green growth, reduced emissions, and animal welfare as core principles of its business.”
We sincerely hope that C.P. Vietnam will continue to support both domestic and international demand for hygienic and high-quality chicken, while contributing to the improvement of people’s diets, the development of Vietnam’s economy, and the strengthening of economic relations between Vietnam, Japan, and other countries around the world.)
Established in December 2020 with a total investment of USD 250 million, CPV Food Bình Phước is regarded as one of Southeast Asia’s most advanced poultry production models. The complex operates under a fully closed loop value chain, covering feed production, breeder farms, hatchery, broiler farms, slaughtering, processing, and by-product treatment, with a maximum annual capacity of 52 million broilers and 19,200 tons of processed chicken.
Every stage of production is rigorously monitored in compliance with international biosafety and food safety standards. Vaccination is administered automatically during hatching, allowing chicks to build natural immunity and minimizing antibiotic residues. Throughout the farming cycle, a Big Data system and sensors continuously track key indicators including temperature, humidity, feed intake, and weight gain. All transport vehicles are GPS-equipped to track routes, ensure traceability, and maintain temperature control. At the processing plant, products must pass three layers of quality checks by personnel, machinery, and digital systems before release, and are further screened by X-ray and metal detectors to guarantee safety.
A representative from a long-term Japanese customer of C.P. Vietnam said: “In Dong Nai, C.P. Vietnam has established a fully integrated production chain from feed manufacturing and poultry farming to chicken meat processing, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and quality. I understand that the company’s products not only serve the domestic market but are also exported to many countries beyond Japan. I am confident that C.P. Vietnam will continue to make positive contributions to providing safe food sources, improving consumers’ quality of life, promoting Vietnam’s economic development, and strengthening economic ties between Vietnam, Japan, and other countries around the world”.
Beyond Japan, CPV Food’s products are now exported to Hong Kong (China), Singapore, Laos, Cambodia, and Mongolia, laying the foundation for expansion into other premium markets.
