During the meeting, Chairman Sang Gyo Ahn reaffirmed Hwaseong CCI's commitment to the Vietnamese market, expressing a desire to work together with VCCI to strengthen ties with Vietnamese businesses. He encouraged Hwaseong companies to invest in Vietnam and suggested that VCCI effectively connect Korean businesses with the Vietnamese Government to address challenges in the business environment.

VCCI Vice President Nguyen Quang Vinh emphasized VCCI’s role as an important link between businesses and the Vietnamese Government, facilitating sustainable economic ties between Vietnam and Korea. He said Vietnam's cultural and historical similarities with Korea make it an attractive destination for Korean investors and expatriates. Both sides discussed the development histories of VCCI and Hwaseong CCI, expressing a shared interest in fostering long-term cooperation through joint conferences, workshops, and investment promotion events.

He proposed that VCCI’s Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Promotion Center work closely with Hwaseong CCI to implement practical support programs in the near future. Both parties emphasized that cooperation in supporting SMEs and microenterprises would enable businesses from both countries to leverage opportunities and enhance competitiveness in the global economy.

He suggested that VCCI and Hwaseong CCI sign a partnership agreement to enhance their cooperation. He noted that VCCI has previously partnered with major organizations like KCCI and expressed confidence that a partnership with Hwaseong CCI would support sustainable economic growth between the two countries.

The city of Hwaseong, a key industrial hub in Korea, is home to major corporations like Samsung, Kia, and Hyundai. Beyond traditional industries, it plays an important role in the electric vehicle, semiconductor, and biotechnology sectors. With strong infrastructure development and a forward-looking strategy, Hwaseong offers vast investment opportunities and potential synergies for Vietnamese businesses.
