Key projects as a leverage for Hung Yen province

There are times when the transformation of a locality does not need to be seen through growth figures, but simply by passing through construction sites where the roar of machinery resonates day and night.

In Hung Yen today, from Me So Bridge crossing the Red River, Ring Road 4 is accelerating day and night, to new industrial parks, ecological mega-cities, thousand-hectare tourist resorts, or modern sports complexes... all are creating a vibrant development picture rarely seen.

Inter-regional infrastructure expanding development space

If one had to choose a symbol for Hung Yen's new development cycle, it would be the massive transport construction sites stretching from the West to the East of the province.

Most prominent is the Ring Road 4 Project - Hanoi Capital Region, featuring Me So Bridge over the Red River and a strategic interchange system directly connecting industrial parks, urban areas, and national highways. When completed, Ring Road 4 will become the "backbone" linking Hung Yen with Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, and the entire Northern transport network. From here, goods can quickly access the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway, Noi Bai - Lao Cai, Hanoi - Thai Nguyen, Phap Van - Cau Gie, expanding connectivity with Hai Phong seaport, Noi Bai airport, and major industrial centers across the country.

Along with Ring Road 4 is a series of strategically meaningful projects such as the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway (CT.08), Ring Road 5 of the Capital Region, the heritage connection road along the Red River, East-West and North-South axis roads, and the planned Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line. Each project is a link, but when connected, they will form an interconnected transport network, lifting Hung Yen from a "satellite" position to an important transit hub of the Red River Delta.

Importantly, infrastructure not only shortens geographical distances but also expands economic development space. Areas that previously focused mainly on agricultural production are step by step becoming land funds for industrial, urban, and service development. New transport corridors are also driving the shift of investment capital flows, creating conditions for businesses to reduce logistics costs, increase competitiveness, and expand production scale.

That is the greatest value of strategic infrastructure, creating new roads to generate new development opportunities.

The "massive construction site" of driving projects

If infrastructure is the foundation, private investment projects are the "concrete blocks" shaping the future face of Hung Yen.

Across the province, a series of large-scale projects are being deployed or prepared for investment, creating the image of a true "massive construction site."

In the industrial sector, along with established brands like Thang Long II, Pho Noi A, and Pho Noi B, Hung Yen is expanding its development space with Industrial Park No. 02, Clean Industrial Park – VTK, Industrial Park No. 03 – Eco Land... along with many new industrial zones oriented toward high technology, supporting industries, electronics, precision engineering, and logistics.

Industrial Parks: No. 02, No. 03, VTK, No. 05 and industrial clusters: Quang Lang – Dang Le; Kim Dong - Dang Le - Chinh Nghia; Pham Ngu Lao – Nghia Dan have been invested, constructed, and put into operation on the road connecting the two expressways of Hung Yen and Ninh Binh provinces.

Hung Yen's production space is therefore no longer concentrated in a few traditional localities but is spreading down to the southern region, creating a more balanced development momentum between areas. Prominent is the Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park under the Thai Binh Economic Zone, with a scale of nearly 600 hectares, which has become a destination for many domestic and international electronics, supporting industry, and high-tech manufacturing corporations. Next are Hai Long Industrial Park and Hung Phu Industrial Park, which are receiving synchronous infrastructure investment, aiming to attract green, high-tech, processing, manufacturing, and logistics industries.

In the urban and service sectors, Hung Yen's appeal is increasingly evident as many large corporations continuously establish their presence with projects spanning hundreds to thousands of hectares. Ecopark has become a symbol of eco-urban areas; projects by Vinhomes, Masterise Homes, and Xuan Cau Holdings continue to expand modern urban spaces at the western gateway of the province.

Notably, the People's Committee of Hung Yen Province has approved the 1/2,000 scale zonal planning for the Southern Phu Cu Eco-Tourism and Urban Area, with a scale of over 1,400 hectares and a population of about 68,500 people, invested by Sun Group. This project aims to develop an eco-tourism, resort, entertainment, and new urban area associated with the effective exploitation of hot mineral springs.

This will be a large-scale complex of urban housing, resorts, commerce, and entertainment, opening up an entirely new development direction for the province. This also demonstrates that Hung Yen is gradually becoming a destination for strategic investors across multiple fields, rather than just being attractive for heavy industry as before.

Another highlight is the PVF Stadium Project in Van Giang and Nghia Tru communes. Not just a large-scale sports work, the project is expected to become the core of a modern sports, service, and urban complex, contributing to perfecting the high-quality social infrastructure system and elevating the locality's image in the eyes of investors.

Observing Hung Yen's investment picture today reveals a common thread: projects do not develop in isolation but are creating ecosystems. Wherever transport roads open up, industrial parks, urban areas, logistics hubs, and services take shape. Modern urban areas, in turn, pull along education, healthcare, commerce, finance, and high-quality human resources. This is the sustainable development value chain that many localities strive for.

The resonance between strategic infrastructure and mega private projects is creating a new springboard for Hung Yen. From a locality with geographical advantages, Hung Yen is step by step transforming that advantage into substantive competitiveness through modern infrastructure, an open investment environment, and an increasingly complete development ecosystem.

In just a few years, when strategic routes are completed, new industrial zones operational, and mega-cities, tourist resorts, and iconic works simultaneously manifest, Hung Yen will not only change its appearance but also its stature.

Today's "massive construction sites" will open up a new growth pole for the Red River Delta — a convergence of modern industry, civilized urban areas, high-quality services, and a strong will to develop in the new era, heading toward becoming a centrally-run city in the not-too-distant future.
