Mr. Do Van Chien appointed as the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee

On the morning of 4 November, Mr. Đo Van Chien, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations and President of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front, was released by the Politburo from his positions in the Executive Committee, the Standing Executive Committee, and as Secretary of the Party Committee of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations. Simultaneously, the Politburo transferred, assigned, and appointed him to join the Executive Committee and the Standing Executive Committee and to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the National Assembly.

The decision on the transfer and assignment of Mr. Đỗ Văn Chiến as Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the National Assembly was announced at the National Assembly House on the morning of 4 November.

Speaking at the ceremony, Party General Secretary To Lam said that Mr. Do Van Chien had participated in the revolution and matured from practical activities, from the grassroots, and had a lot of experience in gathering and mobilizing the masses. Mr. Chien also participated in the Central Executive Committee for many terms, participated in the Politburo and the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee, and together with the Politburo and the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee, participated in leading all aspects of the Party and the country's work for a long time.

According to the Party General Secretary, the assignment and appointment of Mr. Do Van Chien to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee aims to strengthen the Party's leadership, helping the National Assembly increasingly promote its role and position in the country's political system, and more effectively institutionalize the Party's guidelines and policies.

The Party General Secretary hopes that Mr. Đỗ Văn Chiến, in his new position, will continue to unite with the personnel in the National Assembly Party Committee, the National Assembly, and the National Assembly Standing Committee to lead the National Assembly to complete its tasks and organize and well implement the Party's guidelines, policies, and the National Assembly's decisions in the coming time.

In his speech, Mr. Do Van Chien affirmed that he will continuously study, cultivate, practice moral qualities, perfect working methods, unite, be devoted, and do his best together with the Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man, the National Assembly Standing Party Executive Committee, and the Standing Board of the National Assembly to successfully complete all tasks of the National Assembly.
